These new challenges are complemented by a revamped district lineup in 2-4A, with the Wossman Wildcats and West Ouachita Chiefs joining the fray. On August 18, the Indians will participate in a scrimmage against South Beauregard, giving them a chance to fine-tune their strategies and get into the groove before the official games begin. This will be followed by the highly anticipated “Battle of the Border Jamboree” on August 25, a round-robin event featuring the Winnfield Tigers and Holy Savior Menard Eagles. The jamboree promises to be a night of intense competition, with each varsity team playing two games. The action kicks off at 6:40 PM with a matchup between Tioga’s freshman team and Winnfield’s junior varsity team.
