The ASH Lady Trojans didn’t just win Monday night—they put on a show. In a 14-3 romp over Lafayette, every part of the lineup got in on the fun, and the energy was off the charts from the first pitch to the last out.
Mary Claire Brinkman was an absolute force. The shortstop went 3-for-4, drove in three, and scored three more—just filling up the stat sheet like it was a buffet. Marlie Fletcher got in on the action too, launching a home run and adding two more hits. Addison Couvillon kept the pressure on with two doubles and a pair of RBIs. This offense was relentless.
Ella Melder and Lauren Bonette teamed up in the circle. Bonette got the start, and Melder slammed the door with 3.1 innings of no-hit ball and seven strikeouts. Melder also added an RBI.
Final score: 14-3. Next stop? The quarterfinals. The Dash for Frasch is on, and this ASH squad is heating up at just the right time. ASH will play the winner of Capt. Shreve and Mt. Carmel.
