6’2″ LHP Freshman Kade Anderson will get the start today for Coach Jay Johnson as LSU winds down the opening weekend series. Anderson will certainly get the weekend’s best weather to take the hill.

LSU Baseball (3-0) will play Central Arkansas for the second time this weekend surviving the upset bid from Saturday as the Tigers won 2-0 behind solid defense.

Central Arkansas will counter with Sophomore RHP Bryce Parlin. Parlin struggled to get past 3 innings last season as a Freshman and in fact his longest start last season was the 3 innings pitched against ULM.

Just a couple of changes of note in the lineup as CF Paxton Kling gets the day off putting Freshman Jake Brown in CF and Josh Pearson in Right. Monster Milam will leadoff and Brady Neal is once again behind the Dish for the Tigers.

H8den Travinski will bat in the DH spot for the Tigers in his normal slot behind Tommy White who hits second.

The Tigers look to start the season 4-0 in front of Northern Illinois and Stony Brook coming to Baton Rouge for a similar 4 game set next weekend.
