The 2026 Louisiana Christian University Wildcats are just 90 days away from the start of their season. It seems like just yesterday when the Domination in the Desert took place in Surprise, Arizona. In fact, the last time we officially saw the Wildcats play they put on a show against OUAZ. That win gave the Cats a share of the SAC and knocked the Spirit out of the 20-team NAIA Playoffs.
That was November and currently the calendar is set to turn to June in the new week. Gone are some very familiar names such as Levi Hilborn, Kendal Rowan, Nate Sullivan to eligibility. McNeese picked up transfer and SAC Defensive POY and Freshman of the Year Kylon Polk.
One name missing from that list of departures that will be returning is All Conference ILB Jordan Oglesby. Oglesby who participated in Senior Day last year but has a year of eligibility remaining, returns. Oglesby will anchor a defensive unit that held opponents to just 32 points in the Cats final 16 quarters.
Another exciting addition to the Cats comes on the Coaching Staff. Join the LCU staff as DBs Coach is former Pineville Rebels Head Coach Bryant Bell. Coach Bell will take over as DBs Coach in August while keeping his current teaching role at JI Barron.
Offensively, the Cats return most of their starters, featuring stars such as QB Bryce Perkins, RB Datlan Cunningham, WRs Omar Davis, EJ Scott and Darius Washington and a talented Offensive Line.
Over the next 90 days, we will get you ready for the Cats 2026 Season and their quest for an outright SAC Championship and the Conference’s automatic playoff berth.
